What is TP508?
TP508 corresponds to a non-proteolytic section of prothrombin. It does not act through coagulation but via binding sites on cell surfaces.

State of research
TP508 was developed at the University of Texas and tested clinically as Chrysalin. Phase I/II studies in diabetic foot ulcers and wrist fractures reported faster healing, but development did not lead to approval.
Preclinically, TP508 is studied for angiogenesis, vascular function and bone healing, and as an approach to protecting tissue after radiation damage. Its exact receptor is not fully resolved; proposed binding sites act through nitric oxide and growth factors.
Status and quality
TP508 is not approved as a medicine. Peptidkauf sells TP508 solely as a research reagent for laboratory and in-vitro use and gives no dosing or application advice.
An independent laboratory tests every batch for purity (HPLC), identity and measured content before it goes on sale; the reports and their verification keys are in the lab report archive. The material ships as lyophilised powder in a glass vial; storage and laboratory handling are covered under storage & handling.
