What is Mazdutide?
Mazdutide is a lipidated peptide modelled on oxyntomodulin, a gut hormone that activates both receptors. Its fatty-acid side chain allows weekly administration in clinical protocols.

State of research
Oxyntomodulin is a gut hormone that naturally activates both receptors but survives only minutes in the blood. Mazdutide carries the same principle into a lipidated, long-acting peptide.
Clinical data come mostly from Chinese phase II and III trials (the GLORY and DREAMS programmes) on body weight, blood glucose and liver fat. Mazdutide has been approved in China since 2025. Preclinical work asks how much the glucagon component contributes to energy expenditure and how this affects liver and fat metabolism.
Status and quality
Mazdutide is not approved as a medicine in the EU. Peptidkauf sells Mazdutide solely as a research reagent for laboratory and in-vitro use and gives no dosing or application advice.
An independent laboratory tests every batch for purity (HPLC), identity and measured content before it goes on sale; the reports and their verification keys are in the lab report archive. The material ships as lyophilised powder in a glass vial; storage and laboratory handling are covered under storage & handling.
