What is N-Acetyl Semax Amidate?
N-Acetyl Semax Amidate has the Semax sequence (MEHFPGP) with an acetyl group at the N-terminus and an amide at the C-terminus. Both terminal modifications slow degradation by exopeptidases.

State of research
Semax was developed from the ACTH 4–7 fragment at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and is approved in Russia as nasal drops. The literature describes increased production of the nerve growth factor BDNF in rat hippocampus and effects in stroke and cognitive stress models.
The N-acetyl amidate form is a later variant meant to be more stable in solution and tissue. Independent comparisons between the two forms are hardly published, so a direct comparison with unmodified semax is a sensible experiment. How semax and selank differ is shown in semax vs. selank.
Status and quality
N-acetyl semax is not approved as a medicine. Peptidkauf sells N-Acetyl Semax Amidate solely as a research reagent for laboratory and in-vitro use and gives no dosing or application advice.
An independent laboratory tests every batch for purity (HPLC), identity and measured content before it goes on sale; the reports and their verification keys are in the lab report archive. The material ships as lyophilised powder in a glass vial; storage and laboratory handling are covered under storage & handling.
