What is Semax + Selank?
Semax: Synthetic heptapeptide (MEHFPGP) based on the ACTH fragment 4–7 with a C-terminal Pro-Gly-Pro extension, without hormonal ACTH activity. Selank: Synthetic heptapeptide (TKPRPGP), an extended analogue of the immune peptide tuftsin, developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics in Moscow.

State of research
Both peptides share a design principle: a short, naturally occurring fragment is extended with the sequence Pro-Gly-Pro, which protects it from rapid breakdown. For semax the starting piece is ACTH(4–7), for selank the immune peptide tuftsin.
The research questions complement each other: semax has been linked to raised BDNF levels and effects in ischaemia models, selank to effects on the GABA system and cytokine expression. Both are approved in Russia as nasal products; outside Russia the evidence is thin. A detailed comparison is in semax vs. selank.
Status and quality
Semax and selank are not approved as medicines in the EU. Peptidkauf sells Semax + Selank solely as a research reagent for laboratory and in-vitro use and gives no dosing or application advice.
An independent laboratory tests every batch for purity (HPLC), identity and measured content before it goes on sale; the reports and their verification keys are in the lab report archive. The material ships as lyophilised powder in a glass vial; storage and laboratory handling are covered under storage & handling.
