What is Sermorelin?
Sermorelin corresponds to amino acids 1–29 of human GHRH with a C-terminal amide. It binds the pituitary GHRH receptor and is rapidly degraded by DPP-4.

State of research
In the 1990s sermorelin was approved as a diagnostic and for growth hormone deficiency in children; the product was later withdrawn for commercial reasons. Human data on pulsatile growth hormone release date from that period.
Because native GHRH(1-29) is cleaved by DPP-4 within minutes, sermorelin is the starting point for stabilised versions: Mod GRF 1-29 (CJC-1295 no DAC) with four amino acid substitutions, and CJC-1295 DAC with albumin binding. In laboratory work sermorelin is often the comparator.
Status and quality
Sermorelin is not approved in the EU and is on the WADA Prohibited List. Peptidkauf sells Sermorelin solely as a research reagent for laboratory and in-vitro use and gives no dosing or application advice.
An independent laboratory tests every batch for purity (HPLC), identity and measured content before it goes on sale; the reports and their verification keys are in the lab report archive. The material ships as lyophilised powder in a glass vial; storage and laboratory handling are covered under storage & handling.
